Event Overview

Beyond the Game is a high-energy, interactive celebration of National Girls & Women in Sports Day, designed to inspire, empower, and connect women and girls through movement, mentorship, and community.

Hosted at The Skills Center and presented by WISE Tampa Bay and Tampa Bay Sports Commission, this free community event brings together athletes, coaches, health professionals, and youth-serving organizations for an evening of hands-on sports clinics, meaningful conversation, and fun.

Participants will engage in interactive sports experiences, hear from a nationally recognized athlete and physical therapist, and leave energized—mind, body, and spirit.

What to Expect

  • Interactive sports clinics led by The City of Tampa and D1 Training Westchase

  • Fireside chat with Deliah Autry – Jones, U.S. Women’s National Team Gold Medalist and Alanna Dwarka, General Manager of D1 Training Westchase

  • Step aerobics class (women only – limited spots)

  • Giveaways and participant swag

  • Girl Scouts activation table with cookies

  • Grab-and-go refreshments
