November 2015

TAMPA – The Skills Center partners with Game Plan Academic Coaching and Men of Vision in its SVP ACT Reading Prep Program - Helping struggling students attain a High School Diploma vs a Certficate of Completion

"When I first heard my nephew had not passed the FCAT reading test I panicked! I immediately began to have him tested and enrolled him in all types of very expensive academic tutorial programs. Nothing worked !!! Until The Skills Center!!! My nephew enjoyed learning HOW to TAKE the ACT instead constantly trying to learn information that may or may not be included on the FCAT. Even though he needed the class a couple of times, the test strategy techniques always paid off. His ACT score improved with each class. His final score just before prom was the needed 19 to override his failing FCAT! Thank you Skills Center for believing in my nephew and equipping him with the proper testing techniques for success on the ACT!!"
